SRT25 - Days 14 - 17
Summer 2025 Road Trip
Saturday, April 19-22, 2025
Made it to Brian’s house in eastern Arkansas yesterday without any problems. It seems like the storms have been chasing me across Arkansas.
After being on the road for 14 days it’s nice and a little strange to sleep in a real bed. A flushing toilet and a hot shower is greatly appreciated.
Then it was time to help Brian with a few projects around the house. One of my mother’s sayings is that “Congratulations you own a house and all the things that need to be fixed in it”. For those of you that have never owned a house I can tell you that it’s a lot of work taking care of a home. If you can’t fix it yourself or afford to pay someone to fix it for you. It might be better for you to just rent a home. That way you can just call someone else to take care of it.
Then Bones and I helped Brian to move a few things for his family.
In the evenings we would watch the storms roll in.
Lucky for us the tornadoes and severe weather stayed to the west and north of us. But we did get a lot of lightning and rain.
Since I’ll be staying with Brian for a few days I thought I’d group these days together instead of posting daily. So there will be a few days that I won’t be posting anything. As soon as I’m on the move or anything gets exciting I’ll be sure to post about it.
