April 19,1995, 30 years ago a domestic terrorist detonated a bomb in front of the Alfred P. Murrah building killed 168 people, injuring 684, and destroying more than one-third of the building. 324 other buildings in the area were also damaged.
It was a very sad day in our nation’s history.
This is a photo of the aftermath of the bombing. The tree on the left side survived the explosion.
And became known as the Survivor Tree.

On a lighter note. Bones wanted to stop by the Skeleton Museum. And he thinks he might know a few of its residents.
The Skeletons Museum of Osteology is the only museum that is dedicated to skeletons and is open to the public.
Did you know that the average adult human has 206 bones? Human babies are born with 270 bones. As babies grow into adulthood their bones grow and fuse together.
Did you know that by looking at the skull of an animal you can tell whether the animal was a predator or prey?
Bones: See I told you I knew a couple of guys that lived here.
Tonight we’re staying at a KOA on the shores of Lake Eufaula. Unfortunately it’s too windy to go for a paddle. But fortunately there are plenty of trees to hang a hammock and spend some quality time enjoying a relaxing afternoon.
