This morning Bones wanted to play in a waterfall so we took a short hike over to Mud Springs.

The trail was challenging in places.

And you had to be careful not to get into the Poison Ivy.

From there we headed over to the Ozark Folk Center.

They had a live band playing songs from the 1700 and 1800’s.

Later today they are going to be firing up the wood kiln so they can make pottery.

They had several cultural exhibitions going on that were all from the early years of the Ozarks. Including a really nice weaving display.

If you were wondering why Bones and I are taking shelter at Brian’s house this Easter weekend. Well this is it. All of Arkansas is expecting to get significant rain, scattered thunderstorms and even hail.
