Summer 2025 Road Trip

We’re back on the road and crossing into New York. Our plan is to find a nice spot on a lake in the Adirondacks mountains and stay there for a few days before heading south.

It took some looking around, but we found a great campsite on Polliwog pond.
In Arizona we would call this a lake, but up here in New England they call it a pond. I’m beginning to think that up here they call any body of water that you can see the far side of, a pond. And if you can’t see the far side, it’s considered a lake.
