This morning, Bones and I woke up to visitors at the boat ramp. The American Queen cruise ship had come in to visit Natchez for the day.
Bones: It was really cool to go to a radio station and talk on the radio. I wonder if this means that I’m famous now? Maybe, they will make a movie about me. Or, put a Star on the Walk of Fame for me. That would be really cool.

Today, River Angel JimBob, who happens to run a radio station, invited us to talk on his radio station. It was a new experience for Bones and I. I’ve participated in hundreds of assemblies over the years, but nothing like this. If you would have told me that I would be talking on a radio station 100 days ago, I wouldn’t have believed you. This adventure has definitely taken some unexpected twists and turns, and it’s not over yet. But it’s definitely going to Bones’ head.
The rest of the day Bones and I worked on getting our supplies and gear ready to get back on the water tomorrow morning.
Of course, we had to take some time to sit on the balcony and enjoy a beautiful sunset over the Mississippi River. It’s the small things that seem to make Bones and I the happiest.
